PDF On Determining the Optimal Network Structure in Neural Network Pattern Recognition

This paper includes C code for a simple, pattern recognizing, backpropagated, neural network. Input is supplied using a straightfoward ASCII format. The program generates a confusion matrix if test cases are supplied.
